Re: Mr. Frizzer and Lyme
Hi Pam
Just want to offer support. While his blood work is inconclusive, we're pretty sure Beau has the lyme issue here too. Fall is a tough time for them.
We have not yet used the new tick borne

Jon, thanks for the info! The vet didn't seem positive at all about it and this gives me a little hope.
I'm still not sure about where to put everything here. I've moved the post to

I am very sorry for your loss, Andrea. It is allways hard to be left behind by one of our ponies.
Sure Homer will meet some nice guys up there to play with.

safe starch vs untested grass hay
Hi,
I am caring for a friend's arab and pony that live and eat together.
The pony has cushings and IR and has foundered mildly before.
The owner wrote out instructions to disolve prascend and mix

Re: Is R/S ok if no molasses BP?
Why phosphate when feeding beet pulp. What does BP have that needs to be balanced by the phos.
Debora
Hamilton, MT
If feeding this much definitly need to add 1 tsp monosodium phospate per lb of BP

Hi Karin,
The first rinse is to remove any UFO's and surface iron so it doesn't get soaked INTO the BP. The soak is to reduce sugars. The final rinse is to wash away the sugars that were suspended

So sorry Andrea. Unlike people, our animals give so much and ask so little. You were brave to let him go.
