Hi Lisa
Yes I did look a the pics. it did appear you have what I would call a crest bump, vs a full crest. Beau develops these in two places.
If his ACTH is not controlled, his IR is very likely

Re: Case history for Babe (old horse with PPID)
Hey Lavinia thanks this helps a lot.
She used to like Beet pulp so I'll give that a try. It's just that the Bute tastes pretty bad. I even have the flavored powder but it's still bitter. The Naproxin

The originator of this thread should provide a link to the document, rather than 'I've read an article..' - I for one am always interested in knowing whether there is any knowledgeable background

Thanks to everyone for your input.
Nancy, did you also look at his pics by chance? I think this qualifies as a crest but it's not big and the lack of muscle tone along the neck seems to make it

I have beets growing in the field next to my farm. Sometimes they are
table beets, sometimes they go for sugar. The harvesting crew always
removes the leaves. The leaves would rot long before

FYI: distiller's grains as a carrier option
This group does not seem to use distiller's grains as a carrier but Dr. Kellon mentioned them (maybe in NCRplus 2011 course or EC horsekeeping). I have been using them for a couple of years before
