Hi Laura,
I remember that discussion as well, but somehow also remember that it was, in the end, recommended to "gel" it. Guess I could search the messages....
The NOW people actually answered me.

Re: Problem with horse without energy
I think you are being very diligent in taking care of this horse.
The factor I would want to rule out first is hoof pain. It can be present without any other glaring symptoms or classical laminitis

Regarding HA jell, if you add the HA powder to beet pulp and add water it becomes a jell with the beet pulp. This is how I feed it.

Re: Selenium vehicle ?
LJ,
In your search for human selenium capsules you on Puritan or Swanson's vitamins you probably noticed the dosage is in mcg. You said you wanted to supplement 2 mg per horse. 1 mg = 1,000 mcg.

Re: Hyaluronic Acid Source
What are the thoughts on freezing the mixed HA? Mix the powder with water as usual. Then, measuring it out by the tablespoon (or whatever the dose size is) into ice cube trays and freezing? Okay,

Hi Heather,
Just wanted to give you another idea for r/s/r'ing BP. When I fed BP, I used these paint strainer bags, like this: http://www.lowes.com/pd_126392-968-11581/12FF_0__?productId=1008385

Maggie,
Thank you so much for that link! It was a bit overwhelming....but I did get the numbers to differentiate between "high" molecular weight (10kDA--whatever that means) and "low" molecular weight
