Re: Advise urgently required
Hi Michelle -
Many horses have their teeth floated without sedation - your mini's mouth sounds pretty bad but maybe he could have non-sedated floating a little at a time? Not all equine dentists

Hi Michelle
I can't comment on your blood work. Hope Dr Kellon or Dr. Clougher can comment.
I agree with Ellen. I'd get another vet.

Re: Advice on upcoming trim appointment
I used vitex on my horse for a while and it depends on the potency of the vitex and where you got it... some have a smell and some don't from my experience.

If feeding mostly Timothy Balance cubes as the sole source of the ration, you can use just plain salt.

Approved IR feeds list
Is there a pelleted complete feed without Alfalfa?
Could not locate a list to search, just random references.
Toothless pony still refusing wet ODTB.
I am in Central Texas. Thanks! Frustrated

Re: ODTB cubes -- totally balanced?
Aurelio,
If feeding ODTB is adequate for iodine, do I also require iodized salt?
Thanks

Re: What is good ACTH baseline?
Hi Dee
I appreciated seeing the pics and rads. Agree with Lorna about riding. Be very careful. Even slight rotation remaining can cause harm to the tip of p3 if he is worked too hard to early,

Re: ODTB cubes -- totally balanced?
Hi Kerry
Here's the deal with the ODTB Cubes:
You need to add salt: Cubes have iodine but plain or iodized salt is okay.
You need to add Vitamin e in oil. Most of us use human gel caps with soy

Hi Laura
Don't delete the files if you don't have to, however it's best to put the info right on your CH form. I think that is what you do if I remember correctly.
Happy to work with you on balancing

But if the company says 1 scoop is almost 3 g of magnesium (not magnesium oxide), haven't they already factored in the 58%?
