Devil's Claw alone never did much for Ginger, but yes it is the 4th ingredient in the Meadow Acres "Anti-Inflammatory".
So the other herbs sound ok for an IR pony?

Hi Corinne,
Good that the xrays are scheduled and that the farrier and vet will be there at the same time. Getting the xrays will show exactly where the bony column is in relation to the hoof capsule.

Have vet coming tuesday to do xrays, farrier will be here then too,so if shoe's need to come off it will happen then. He's bedded down in deep saw dust/shaving mix seems to help relieve his

It is my understanding that higher leptin can be driven by diet.
I would get rid of the alfalfa. Soaking the hay may be in order, but if it is mostly starch you will have the same issue

I read the j herb files.. a few questions.. Optimal is twice a day 1/2 tsp for older horse. can 1 tsp once a day work as I only visit Jesse once a day.. in the am, around 11, after his 8am
