Donkey Blood Work Normal Ranges?
I've tried to search messages and files…
Are there significant differences in normal ranges for standard CBC/Chemistry panels for donkeys as compared to horses?
Thanks for any help.

Yikes.
The 'baby' in my stable is 21.
The others are 38ish, 30 , and 43. The youngest is not PPID/IR.
I lost my PPID/IR , 34-year-old last September

Just as a thought about Jasper's shaking. Aren't tremors signs of possible magnesium deficiency? Or is that only after exercise?
30 mg/kg of Magnesium Oxide is the standard dose I think.

Re: EWT and Rabies Recommendations
IR horses are prone to exaggerated vaccine reactions, to the point they sometimes have to be stopped completely. In the meantime, would definitely try another brand and discuss using the chest muscle

Re: Pain relief for very painful horse) WAS Need Help ( Jasper's really sore 8 hours after joint injections)
Yes, you can apply every 4 to 5 hours but after a few days won't need to do it that often. PQ effect is usually within a few days, ALCar more variable.
I would be pretty happy with decrease to 2.5

Too Much Salt?
Good Morning Friends,
Elijah usually has loose, white salt in a small bucket in his stall. I was not really measuring it, but he probably has been eating about a 1/2 # per week in addition to the 2.5

Re: updating info on file
Karen,
One of my IR horses does the same thing. His Leptin was 4.84. So actions are not a good indication of what is going on.
Glucose I figured I'd wait on if/until her Insulin was out of range
