I think the point she is trying to make is that its the "mini-fasts" that occur when forage is NOT available free-choice that is what is to be avoided bc in theory the fasting creates a detrimental

Your mare will not self-regulate if her leptin is not controlled and will over eat.

My horse is on Metformin, a very bitter tasting med! I put the pills in my NutriBullet in groups of 15 and then grind them up and have measured them per dose. One dose equals about a tablespoon.

I bought these cuz they seemed like a better deal, and so far I'm super happy with them. They cover the hoof really well, and the ice packs are built in so you throw the boots in the freezer again

Finally jasper is starting to get less painful he's now a 2 on the lameness scale,the capaisin is really helping him. Also got him to eat his ODTB cubes this morning put aloe vera juice mixed in
