Re: Now: colick Trouble Jasper's Journal of Pulse & lameness last 10 days.
Diazepam is notorious for being irritating IM. It is recommended to go IV. Oral absorption is highly variable between species and has not been studied in horses so no dosing guidelines are available

What causes this? I haven't wormed him in quite a while because of his laminitis. His lameness is much better, but I wouldn't call him sound yet by any means. I'm hesitant to call the vet because

Re: How long to get lab results
You are a very patient person.
For comparison's sake: I always overnight mine to Cornell on Mondays and have full results by Thursday.
I would be twisted in a knot if I had to wait a week! LOL

Hi ill
You should not be waiting this long, unless there was a lab issue, ie equipment glitch or such. In our experience they would have notified your vet.
How long you might wait will depend on when

How long to get lab results
Am I being unreasonably impatient or is a month a long time to wait for lab results from Cornell? This is the first lab work I've had done - we sent glucose, insulin, leptin and ACTH on May 19th. I

Re: Moldy Hay?
That brown discoloration comes from heating while curing. The bales had too much moisture when put up. It can also mean mold but not necessarily. The best way to check for this is to open the bales
