Re: princess new trim... sue & princess
Nice! So glad Princess is liking the changes - those seemingly little increases in her desire to move are wonderful.
Thanks for the updates, Sue.

Sue, this is great news! The trim certainly looks to be an improvement to me; more importantly is that Princess seems to think so, too.

Mild exercise for a horse with a warm foot?
Hi everyone,
Mimi's left front was warm to the touch this morning, so I've been icing it for the past three or four hours as a precaution. The hoof is not horribly hot, just warm around the coronet

I will have him draw blood for insulin and glucose and leptin. However he does stop eating

Not a whole lot...I try to walk them daily but it isn't enough. When it snows they will not want to walk due to icy conditions. I walk them about 10-15 min a day.

Re: Still in need of help! Dexter and Dixie
Hi there,
I'm sure the pros will chime in soon, but I wanted to ask: how much exercise do they get, and what kind?
Is it just a paddock or a track system?

the best way I've found is to enclose them in a feed bag and beat them with a hammer. That still doesn't get the hard, shiny ones. Mine won't eat them wet, either, so I spend a lot of time trying to

Best way to crush a lot of ODTB cubes?
Luxy will not eat the ODTB cubes, she just shoves them around & if I add some BS Carb Guard to entice her she eats it but leaves the cubes. Last winter she quid her hay & eventually gave up totally
