Re: Zinc carnosine and gastric ulcers and timing of lab work and small pergolide dose increase
Thanks Lavinia,
I wil get blood tomorrow. The trimmer comes on Tuesday, so will try to get hoof pics after that. I put up recent pics of Scarlet. I think they are in the right place.

Jaini, I can't believe I just wrote a very thorough answer and then tried to attach a photo and lost the whole thing!
Thank you for your reply.
I don't think Scarlet's weight is that bad. I will try

Rebecca, I am so sorry for your loss. I know Cindi will be hugely missed - they fill up so much of our hearts.
From the various papers I have looked at regarding pergolide and human valve

Lorna,
I finally met the farm hand at our new farm. He seemed knowledgeable and business-like. I believe we got the beet pulp in the sun situation straightened out; he will park the cart loaded

Re: Granite- new bloodwork results
Oh gosh, I missed a zero... he's getting 15 1000mg tablets BID, so that's 30,000mg, not 3000mg. I will fix my CH for him.
BUT.... they're not actually getting into him at that dose at this point. He

Re: Granite- new bloodwork results
Hi Dee,
If Granite is around 1200lbs, the3000mg dose of Metformin is nowhere near high enough to be useful - Equine dose is 15mg/kg, BID to 30mg/kg BID. Because it tends to stop working (if it works)

Re: Amber Episode
Jean, I'm so sorry to hear about Amber. I think you took all the right precautions. I would use the Aloe Vera as you have suggested.
The jiaogulan can be given while she's on the Previcox however
