You shouldn't be adding Nexium to GastroGard.
Get some garden shears and cut up hay into pieces no longer than an inch. Soak until soft before feeding.

Since he was bright, interactive and moving around there is not much chance the metformin caused this but because his hydration is questionable you should stop it at least for now.

I do the small pc of carrot with pergolide capsule put into the carrot..Jesse quids hay, but only hay.. no problem with pellets bp etc

My horse was off his minerals when I started Prascend as well, typical reaction noted in the files. Try using APF - mine did not like it at first, but I soak a Beet E Beets treat with it and he eats

some good change. I made the metformin connection today, and stopped it as of today.
Tonite at 5 pm, when I got to the barn,, no food was eaten. I started him on nexium 80 mg. for stomach ulcers
