Re: Aloe vera as a supplement carrier
I use aloe and mix it with the flax and mineral mix then add the Nuzu pellets. It makes everything stick to the pellets. No minerals left in the bottom of the bucket .

Re: Can I stop soaking hay?
Karen,
Give EA a call and see if they still have the original sample that you sent in - they save them for awhile. If so, just ask them to do the nitrate test on that - saves having to take/send

Hi Monti, you're not alone on the minerals thing, for sure. I'm new to this and still working on getting my horse to accept his minerals. I posted a few thoughts in another thread here today, Uckele

Hi Karin, sorry to hear Inky is having troubles with his minerals. I'm sort of in the same boat as over the past couple of months I'm starting my horse (for the first time) on minerals after working

Here you go Merle, a link to your CH: https://ecir.groups.io/g/CaseHistory/files/Merle%20and%20Camelot
Looks like you need to update it. Look in the wiki here for instructions:

Re: off minerals, nothing working
I added a couple of drops of organic, pure Anise (purchased at grocery) to Toons supps today. He isn't a picky eater, but I wanted to try something new as he has been leaving some of his ODTC lately

I can work on getting hoof pics, but the issue is new and nothing has changed about the trim or trimmer.
How do neuro issues usually manifest for horses on too high a dose of Pergolide or advanced

Re: off minerals, nothing working
Hard to know what 'funny' means.Could mean 'off',even if it is a new mix.
Could mean a flavouring is added by the company. Only way to know is to contact the company. Some of my horses don't like

Re: off minerals, nothing working
Monti,I understand from your CH that you are feeding 1 lb of ODTBC a day. I'm thinking that's 1/2 lb , morning and night.
If that's the case, I don't think that's enough cubes. At least, my boys need
