Vaccines
I am getting more and more people telling me and reading about over vaccinating my horse. The last article I read, it says you shouldn't vaccinate a horse with Cushings. What does this group suggest

forms of minerals
Hi, can someone explain the various forms of minerals; are some options better than others an IR horse? (I do have tested hay and mineral balanced). I have tried to do some research, but am confused.

Well I was mistaken... I was thinking Omega Horseshine was an oil based product. Oil is needed for the absorption of vitamin E if it is in the powder form, and it is with the daily vitamin/mineral mix

Re: Aloe vera as a supplement carrier
Can you provide the source, Linda?
I wondered if that's what you meant. It's not something I've heard before.
Vitamin E needs oil to help with absorption. We recommend Vit E capsules in oil. But

Re: Aloe vera as a supplement carrier
Yes, Lorna. Recently learned, after searching and searching for fish oil source, that I can keep feeding the Omega Horseshine and that works well for the absorption needed while feeding the vitamin E.

Hi Linda,
Can you say this another way? Are you connecting the flax to the vitamin E absorption?

Re: Can I stop soaking hay?
Hi Karen,
Yes, stay focused on ESC and starch. As you know , you want that to be under 10%. Some horses need it even lower, but most do well as long as it's under 10%. And remember, starch
