Buy the boots to fit the horse correctly, they are sized to use pads in them. As his trim progresses, the feet will get smaller too. Too big is one of the main reasons you get rubs.

I’m guessing that the (6 month?) expiration date is from when the bulk pergolide mesylate is manufactured, not the date it is purchased by the compounding pharmacy and also not the date the pharmacy
