The people at Winnies Warmers say not to leave them on above 50 deg. I would assume it would hold or pretty much any leggings. You may want to try some boots to get him off the cold ground.. I am not

I know soyhull pellets aren't really high in protein, but considering my horse's current (boarding situation) hay that is 8.8% I feel it is a nice, safe, tasty and affordable protein addition.

It can be frustratingly confusing, but the hulls aren't actually *that* high in protein, according to equi-analytical,weighing in at about 13%.

Thanks so much for clearing that up everyone! I'm curious now though... if I'm only feeding about a pound of the hay cubes as a carrier for meds does the horse get any benefit of the added minerals
