Had my mare's case study in the yahoo group and that appears to be gone. I will update when I can as of at this point I have only a verbal diagnosis of PPID with a verbal ACTH reading

I've been in your position regarding vet issues. I have successfully told the vet that it was my money and horse he was dealing with.
That said, you can put the glucose and insulin results in the IR

Pulses and heat are not a reliable indicator. Same for heart rate. They can be absent in subclinical laminitis. Subclinical means the lamina are taking a hit from high insulin but she may not

What is a safe anti- inflammatory when having hocks injected?
I understand that dexamethasone can lead to laminitis in IR horses. I plan on having Pilgrim’s hocks injected in the near future. Is there a safe RX alternative?

Reporting back in, Super happy to report the Cresty neck has remarkably improved. Not entirely gone. Few fat deposits still remain as well. I wasn't able to exercise everyday but at least 4x per week
