Re: Kelp was Adequate Iodine?
Hi Cindy
In general, unless you are using a kelp that has been tested and has a guaranteed analysis, the issue is quality control. You need ot know how much iodine you are actually getting.

Hi Jennifer,
I would be concerned that a prune's moisture will be an issue. According to my veterinarian Prascend tabs are VERY moisture sensitive and the tablet could not be put into a prune ahead

Following this topic, because it was a question on my mind as well. If what I understand is true, you can't overdose Pergolide (compounded) and I am seeing a good response, so not to be worried to

Re: Hidding Prascend
Hi Maria, Prunes (dried plums) work very well too. You can shove the pill into the prune where it remains completely hidden. Relevante was wild for them.

Hidding Prascend
I need to hide the dose od Prascend in something very very easy to give for the caretakers of Yayo that doesn't get spoiled and can be stored.
A small piece of a carrot or apple would get oxidized

Re: 2nd try please. Plutón diagnosed PPID too
Hi Maria,
ACTH 142 pg/ml up to 53 this time of the year
Glucose 91 mg/100ml up to 110
Insulin 12.68 uU/ml up to 30
Sorry this somehow got missed.
With an ACTH of 142pg/ml, that is definitively

Re: let me see if I got this straight....
Hi Susan,
Why is the vet pulling a glucose test? It is insulin and ACTH that are the ones you really need to know. Glucose by itself won't tell you much as most horses don't have elevated glucose
