Hi Cindy
In general, unless you are using a kelp that has been tested and has a guaranteed analysis, the issue is quality control. You need ot know how much iodine you are actually getting.

I would be concerned that a prune's moisture will be an issue. According to my veterinarian Prascend tabs are VERY moisture sensitive and the tablet could not be put into a prune ahead

Hi Maria, Prunes (dried plums) work very well too. You can shove the pill into the prune where it remains completely hidden. Relevante was wild for them.

We use peanut shells to hide a pergolide capsule in. I know you are using the Prascend tab, but it should work for it,too.
