-- hi just sharing what works like nothing else for me w Gavilon , if u can get stabul 1 and or Etec carb safe by poulin grain in a handful ..GONE !!He never knows and thinks ita a treat !

They can test him for sure then, but symptoms alone indicate he needs a higher dose of medication.

It was mentioned in a recent post that Prascend should not be allowed to get moist. I thought I had read here that syringing it into a difficult horse was an option?

Great! Thank you, giving 1 per day just to get the medication in. I break it up in 4 pieces. first piece as a primer, 2 pieces loaded with pergolide and the last piece without meds. i feed them all

He tends to be "ouchy" for the first 3-4 weeks after a trim, then gets more comfortable (not totally comfy, but better)....just in time for the 6-week trim. It's a vicious cycle. :(

We were having trouble getting our boy to eat Pergolide in anything. I ordered the Beet-E-Bite pill pockets apple flavored and he gobbled up his medicine. Are they Safe? the starch seems high at 4.9%.
