Laminitis or not?
I have an easy keeper (but not IR) who started being sore on hard surfaces Sunday during our ride and then Tuesday came up super lame. I can tell his left front is worse but he seems possibly sore on

Lots of flies

I am finding this year that my horses stall (which in a mare motel) has so many more flies than any other stall/paddock.
Does anyone have any ideas other than fly bags and bar fly attractants

Update: Vet got back to me - it "wasn't mailed correctly" so all that intervening time it wasn't frozen. Dangit. He'll come by tomorrow - provided i remember to call in the AM - and redraw the bloods
