Good to hear he is doing better and getting regular trims! I can't help with your ferriten question, that's best left to Dr Kellon.
I'm curious why the hay cannot be weighed if they are already doing

Re: My new mare is on Regumate having Cornell testing done?
IR could certainly do it. As for possible side effects of Regumate, it mimics the hormonal environment of pregnancy and human PMS.

I was not able to get entrance to the barn from early March to end of May due to government closure. Yes this was very frustrating. All I could do was drop off vet prescribed Prascend, Insulinwise

Hi Laura,
How much does she weigh and how much hay is she eating? Is it being fed loose or in nets? If nets, what kind of nets? You can always use small hole nets and double net if needed to slow

Speaking of Regumate does it cause a crazy increase in appetite or is IR to blame? She gobbles her hay so fast that after it gone, she starts eating shavings. I’m beside myself right now

Great job on getting your case history done! I'm sorry to see his laminitis/founder all happened when you couldn't be there because of barn closures...that must have been tough.
