Re: sending out cp to test
Thank you for the reply about the potency testing. Do you have a lab that you use for potency? For the Pergolide? aprox cost of test, if known? thanks

Re: sending out cp to test
What you need is potency testing - unless you're looking for something else. The lab looks fine but you'll have to call them to make sure they can test for those specific drugs and what sample size

Hi Barbara,
You can see the list of recommended pharmacies here: https://ecir.groups.io/g/main/wiki/1137
Thriving Pets, is not one of the recommended ones as per this message from Nancy:

Hi Barbara,
As Martha's already pointed out (as did Patty on Horsekeeping) this feed is well above the 10% ESC + starch we recommend and it's very likely that's the reason that Lily thought it was so

Hi Sherry or Lavinia,
I'm confused about switching from Prascend to compounded capsules. If you recommend Lily get 3 mg of pergolide, is that 3 Prascend tablets, or less? Ian at Thriving Pets

Sadly, I have had a similar experience, with 5 of my then-9 horses, over a number of months. They wouldn't have survived had they needed to be on their feet in order to get their hay.
