The question of management comes down to his insulin levels because that is where the laminitis risk is. If PPID is increasing his insulin, he will need tighter diet control. It would be nice to

Hi Shannon,
There's no evidence to date to show that level of protein would be an issue. Just watch carefully when you start it. Can you get just a bale or two to start?

Hi JoAnne,
Where did you reply to Kirsten’s post? Usually it would show up in the same thread as the post you’re replying to. Is it possible you replied to her privately? If you post the reply

Re: Cabergoline not working? Input from Dr. Kellon, please.
Angelika,
With those injection reactions I would stop it now.
The bromocriptine regimen I gave you was for oral, not injected. It was developed at Utrecht University.

I can begin by answering a few of your questions and hope others will be along to complete the picture.
We don’t advise fasting as it will decrease the ACTH level. Things that increase it

Re: Cupcake in full wind up
Hi Carla,
As we're in the midst of the seasonal rise it's not surprising that her ACTH level went up since July but her elevated insulin is more concerning at this point.
Thanks,
Sherry and Scutch
