Help with deciphering results
Hi,
How do I decipher my EMS Calculator results? Also, how do you determine if your horse is PPID if the blood results fall within the normal range, but she is experiencing many symptoms of PPID?

I have been clipping my horse all summer at about 1/2 inch and she seems very comfortable. Do you recommend to continue this all winter? I am in sometimes frigid Ohio. She basically lives outside but

I did mention all of the group responses regarding dosing of Prascend. What my vet relayed to me from the expert at BI is there can and has been a "significant" difference in efficacy

Thank you for the clarification, Martha. I believe I did see the veil. Good to hear no harm from it if not needed.
Thanks!

Re: Prascend, possible false-positive tests, and re-testing
Hi Bev,
You only want the endogenous (baseline) test. There are no lab standards to compare to for TRH Stim testing during the fall rise as well as for a horse already on pergolide.
