Not a problem, Kandace. We’re all learning from each other! I’m guilty as well on a few threads.

Re: Any updates on those using PEA?
I’m still using it on my mare, Abby. She is still doing good on it. My farrier says she is much better. I did try to lower the dose to 2500 mgs once a day and she was more stiff for the farrier

There’s a great string from early this year— is anyone still using it and how has effective did you find it? I ask because I started it myself about four weeks ago and my stiff and sore shoulder

Re: New photos in album
Thanks Kirsten,
She is under 900 lbs, probably lower than 850 in fact, but I haven't weight taped since her paddock mate left and I was able to tighten up on her hay.
We are testing again for insulin

Re: Could someone tell me if the blood results could have been affected by sedative
Hi Carrie,
The last result in your file is for July at which point she should have been on at least 1mg of Prascend. I don't see a dosage for her in the CH so not sure what amount she is on now.

Oh boy, as a vet I'd hope she'd be educated enough to know that values in the 1000s are not normal, even at this time of year. As Martha suggested you may want to reach out to other vets in the area
