Re: Requesting advice about Fizzie's trim
Have you had his insulin and ACTH tested? The ACTH needs to be mid or low normal in a laminitic animal. He has lost about half of his RF coffin bone so don't expect him moving at much more than a walk

Palatable Copper and Zinc
Who sells the most palatable copper ad/or zinc,
preferably pellets? He generally doesn't like powders. I tried both from California Trace then
from Uckele without success. Cannot imagine what would

Re: Stupid questions I am too embarrassed to ask or go against the status quo
Hi Jennifer,
If you want to stop J-herb you don't need to taper it, just stop. Many people use Spirulina and J-herb at the same time so no need to worry overlapping them.
Thanks,
Sherry and Scutch

Re: Reduction in ACTH on capsules vs.oil
Beth, thank you for the tip, I will try it. He will accept treats then a a treat with the capsule inside, then after a few days he won't touch the treat at all. My vet suggested trying fig newtons.
