The safe list only refers to sugar and starch content. These are things you would feed in the smallest amount possible to get supplements into the horse. Rice bran has the wrong omega fats profile -

Her toes needed to come back more in both sets of films and she has a thickened horn-lamellar zone which indicates chronic low level damage but there's no real rotation and sole depth is better
