No, the Elk Grove product is not safe for an EMS/IR horse as the ESC+starch is not guaranteed to be lower than 10%. It also has an inverted omega 3 to 6

The insulin is mildly elevated which means you need to institute a low sugar and starchy diet - unless the blood was taken less than 4 hours after the first meal of the day.

I would like to feed an acceptable grain but avoid soy? There is not a soy free food on the safe feed list.
Is this a viable alternative?

Thank you! Prior to starting Invokana her triglyceride level was 64. My vet is coming on May 9th for a full panel chem test, so hoping her triglyceride level is still normal.
