need advice for managing PPID

Hi Kelly,
For what it's worth, a lady at my barn has a horse with chronic uveitis and she gives Equioxx daily. She said it's the only thing that helps her gelding. Just a thought.

You can feed it in something else but you need to be 10000% sure that the Prascend is getting in him and not falling to the floor or being spit out. I will use a standard 3cc syringe for most

Thanks Kirsten, I am working on getting Mouse's cleaned as I can. We did bloodwork and xrays or Mouse on the 6th as well as trimmed his front feet. Back were done on the 4th. We pulled blood for Ryn

Bella had uveitis 2x last summer; we used the same Protective Pet Solutions mask Ronelle mentions, then their "step down" heavy mesh mask. Worked great. Worth every penny and Bella kept it on. I

EMS horses cannot be free fed in most cases. They will overeat. Double or triple netted hay nets is the way to go, with weighed amounts of hay.

I find it to be a wonderful way to feed and they adjust pretty quickly.
