It's possible, as bute will control inflammation - which an abscess has. But in doing that, it keeps the abscess from "boiling over" and draining away.

That’s frustrating LJ,
My young vet is pretty good about things but they’re swamped so I always have to call and remind her a couple times. That reminds me I haven’t gotten Maggie’s refill.

How pink are her gums now compared to when you started the J-herb? Has the trim been addressed since it was started? If you're looking for pain relief our first suggestion is always Devil's

Use a full dose of PQ pellets twice a day and you can even double that if needed would be 2 scoops a day up to 4 if needed by my math.
