Jo Ann,
Based on the bloodwork results he's PPID and it is controlled with the 1mg. If he was tested non-fasting those results do not indicate IR.

Also, please let me know if I need to pull him from the pasture for the time being. I assume he is at higher risk for laminitis if he isn't on enough prascend, especially since it is fall?

Oh sorry, I didn't really finish that thought! We try to push things like 'how do I kill the grass' or 'what is the best hay net' and similar to the Horsekeeping group as there's a ton of information

Vitex is Chasteberry and as Dr. Kellon indicated can interact with pergolide which is why we don't recommend that they be used together (although of course some people do and don't have issues).
