Hello painthorseok,
Welcome to the group!
Sounds like your boy is experiencing what is called the "pergolide veil", a temporary situation where they may not seem very interested in food, appear

Re: Request for everyone using compounded pergolide
I’ve noticed that there have been no responses to my post in this thread regarding Avril. I’m curious as to thoughts/opinions of the pergolide experts in this group regarding the stability test

Re: Pabatsa becoming arthritic advice on supplements
Tendon EQ has approximately 1 tsp Jiaogulan per dose so if you are giving that once a day you can decrease your separate Jiaogulan to once a day, or even try stopping it completely.

Re: Pabatsa becoming arthritic advice on supplements
Thanks Dr. Kellon,
Pabatsa is also getting 1 tsp am/pm J-Herb, does this in any way compete with Tendon EQ and Hylarin-B? I'm wondering whether I can condense here and not be giving all three

Cathy,
First of all, if you paid for expedited shipping her opinions are totally irrelevant. You should have gotten that. Again, the 180 days refers to the unopened parent drug, not the compounded

No supplement is going to reverse bony changes or correct malalignments but Hylarin-B is a safe support supplement for cartilage and bone. Tendon EQ is completely different. It targets soft tissues

Tracy,
It i not an issue to feed ground metformin in wet feed.
Your fine without the buffer in food, its not concentrated anymore and should not cause irritation.
Mine will eat 13 ground pills in 1 lb

More Metformin Questions - talked with compounding pharmacist
Salsa has been on metformin tablets for almost three weeks now and is getting increasingly harder to syringe them into.
The metformin IS helping him with his sore feet and lab tests show insulin

I did personally buy a bag that had small handful sized wads of molasses throughout. It was in the other bags on the pallet and the feed store sent the whole load back.

Thank you for the feedback Kristen!! You don't know how much I appreciate it.
For now I will go with option number one. I have been trying hard to increase her exercise. I know I won't be able to

Used Cloud Boots
I have a used pair of Cloud boots, size 3. They’re too big for my horse. They are used but still have some life left in them. If you’d like to “use them up”, I’d be glad to send them to
