This post may not win me many friends, but I feel it's necessary to
say (again) since there are new members on the list.
I am leery of ABC's supposed "Cushing's Study." I contacted them
almost two

Feeding Meds/Vitamins
It seems like everyone goes to such pain to feed medications and
supplements. I know I did until recently. My Cushing's gelding is on
multiple items, and I was so worried he'd drop or miss something

Overcoming cruelity/ differences
Linda-
My old girl cannot stand being shut in a barn either. Past memories of
cruelty. I am so glad that your girl found you. You have a wonderful
friend as does she. The Great Spirit must have smiled

abscesses
Help! How can I identify the possibility of an abscess? What signs
should I look for? The last time Star had one it was in the wall and
very visible. Now with this lameness I don't know what to think.

Sabre Sneakers for foundered and sensitive hooves
Those of you with foundered horses or horses whose hooves abcess easily might
want to check out Sabre Sneakers for horses. They are used for treatment and
protection, are long-wearing and stay on.

Big Hugs! It can be so frustrating dealing with Cushings. Sometimes I
stare at my old girl and think "maybe I should just end it for her.." I
know that sounds terrible but it is just overwhelming

I can tell you a few summers ago, Pandora was in the woods, wouldn't even
come out, just lying there, with flies on her body, and her feet almost in
the air. I can only compare her position to that
