Hi Kay
My friend has had to adjust the permax dose frequently
with her pony, I haven't started my horse on permax
yet but am about to consult with a vet to evaluate her
for meds.

My horse suffers from laminitis with her cushings, this past winter she had
a particularly bad attack my vet had me double her dose of cyproheptidine.
Darby was also on isoxaprine and 3 grams

stores, Darby gets about 900 mg a day, Chamisa Ridge

Yes repeated colic in a horse that had never coliced before was one of the earliest symptoms with my mare. For her I just needed to get the right diet balance to eliminate the colics. It is so hard

a thick coat as she lives out 24/7, the main concern was she stopped
being zippy and started getting hurt, fell down once which

Yucca and sweets
Hi Sue, Have you asked your vet about feeding the yucca? Mine told me to
take Star off of yucca and anything that contains yucca because it
messes with the same hormones that Cushings is messing with.

In January Darby was in so much pain she was having such a hard time
walking it would take me an hour to get her turned around and back into the
