I looked up the treat online. The Sugar and starch content is stated at 8.9% and the treats contain wheat middlings, alfalfa meal and ground oats. Here is the information sheet on it .

Wow Nancy that is encouraging, I’m tempted to try it on myself. I’ve had back issues for several years and have lots of hardware, nerve damage in both legs so I can relate to Desi’s pain. I

Ok thank you Dr. Kellon, she had no grain, and she was free fed hay all night prior to the testing. My vet said she was not, but I had a suspicion she was. Do you think we should have a Cushings test

I should clarify here that if blood was taken with 1.5 to 2 hours of a grain meal, or less than 4 hours after the morning meal following an overnight fast, probably not but otherwise it's abnormal.

The ElevatIon Terpese powder has a tsp to mg measurement chart. I personally prefer the pure powders to capsules with lord knows what in them. Typical human dose is 600 mg twice daily for
