I have not dewormed in several years also... always get negative fecal tests. My mares are strictly in dry paddocks and eat off their mats from nets in their stalls which I constantly clean up during

I agree. It's a big part of their curriculum but rarely comes up when they practice. It's the opposite with veterinarians who get osteopathic training, or osteopaths who get veterinary

It's complicated! Human DOs are graduates of osteopathic medicine schools. They use manipulative therapy. commonly referred to as "adjustments" and are also licensed to prescribe drugs and do surgery.

They most certainly can recover, even if all four coffin bones penetrate the sole! Minis have better odds in general because they don't weigh as much but you have to focus on removing the cause -

Fecal testing is effective for its purpose - which is to show how much environmental contamination from manure there is. That's different from the horse's total risk (it only covers Strongyles
