Even if this is successful, which would be great, it can't be a cure and the laminitis will like recur if insulin stays elevated in the danger zone.

HI, I should add that Bey receives the loading dose of Assure Guard Gold am and pm and has been on it since October. The dietician recommends increasing it slightly to help improve hind gut health

Sherry covered the main points. Yes, there are other options but we have found there is no way to get the best results if any short cuts are taken with the basics of DDT.
