Hi Martha and Lorna,
Yes, I transcribed the wrong value for insulin in August--it was actually 30.35 uIU/mL. That is within normal range for Cornell; I didn't realize that under 10 was the goal.

Question, Bonnie ?
Have you tried not dampening the pellets first, and didn't like it?
I would think that the urine would be better absorbed by dry pellets, no ?
I know you are very practical in your

Hi Alanna,
If your horses were doing well on Stabul 1, I would recommend you stay with that and order from Chewy.com or speak to your nearest Tractor Supply Company, who will work with Nuzu and get it

I tried the pellets, too,Dawn. I didn't like using them on their own,or on top of shavings. Didn't like the wetting down part.
But I really did like using them under the shavings ,the way you do !

Re: Summer update, APF and TC safe starch questions
From what I understand, once diagnosed with PPID testing ACTH should ideally be done at a minimum:
- 3 or more weeks after a new dosage is reached to make sure the dose is adequate
- in Jun-Jul before

I use the LMF Low NSC complete (lime green bag). You can also get Stabul 1 from Chewy shipped if you wanted to keep that feed.
