Most of the horses I know pee when first brought back into a stable after a
period out. Rustling straw and whistling helps mine, I always whistled when
she pee'd to get her to pee while out at a one

I did the Strasser Method including lifestyle changes for my then 24
year old cushingoid gelding. Shoes and pads turned his front hooves into
mush and he was going downhill fast.
