It's Working!!!!!
It's only day 5 of my horses being on pergolide and I can see real
improvement in the laminitis that has lasted 3 months. The 5 YO was
careful at walk last week. Today, she was playing at trot,

Re: Pergolide and shedding
When I first used pergolide on my horse (Jack - 26 yrs old), the
shedding effect was great. Then it seemed to work only intermittently
over the last year or so - but thanks to a comment on this list,

Robin and list:
Tamera was first put on Cypro and I didn't see too much improvement,
then in Oct. of last year she had an episode of laminitis....it broke my
heart. We had not really explored Dr.

Permax. The prescription was always made out to "Marvin Goldy". It had
a label warning him against driving and operating heavy

Barbara,
This is strange because I have noticed the same thing with Sadie. I was
telling BelindaVet that when the weather changes from one extreme to another,
it seems to make Sadie walk more

Re: Pergolide side affects?
Katy,
A suggestion, in case you aren't doing it with the pergolide, is to split the
dose and give half in the am, the other half in the pm. Just a thought,
might help with the loss of appetite
