Re: Isoxsuprine / Bute / Sulfamethoxazole & Trimethoprim Tablets - Keep or Not?
Anne, I had a pony on bute last spring. When I tapered him off, it wasn’t slowly enough so I had to start over. The second time I added PhytoQuench to his mix. That seemed to do the trick.

Re: Study regarding trailering and ACTH
Maxine,
I don't think you can tell because there's no way to know where the ACTH is coming from, only that it's a normal level. Have we shut down the intermediate lobe production or just controlled

LJ,
Back when he was still on cabergoline you saw that uncontrolled PPID would override Invokana. Nothing impossible but I would be very surprised if you can get good control with pergolide. Change

Re: Laminitis and Stabul1
I have a mini and several years ago Dr. Kellon said that 1 lb. of Stabul is the most he should be feed. The flavor doesn't matter. At that time he probably weighed 225 lbs. He also got Triple Crown

Sherry!
Just got the x-rays corrected! Hope that helps. He is a mini and I haven't put a tape on him. I will try tomorrow. The trimmer was out when he first was laminitic and trimmed his toes back

Thanks Martha! He was put on the antibiotic after the tenotomy. When his hoofs got so open and awful, we just continued it. He also has many raw places from laying down so hoping it fends off
