thinking that to add omeprazole to only help one of the three side effects of prevacox/ naproxen, etc is not worth it. Thoughts on that?

a previous horse of mine was using surpass. I bought tons of tubes. I thought it did nothing but I know some people do use it. And there are cheaper alternatives?

I would give the pergolide as your vet instructs with two caveats. Start him on APF 3-4 days before starting the pergolide to minimize any veil which might interfere with his appetite. You

Do you have any more recent radiographs? There were areas suspicious of retained infection on the December films. Has he had regional limb perfusion? That degree of lameness would be unusual

In this case (horses) uncompensated and poor insulin responder means the horse is struggling to keep up with glucose effectively. You're doing better and insulin is in a low acute laminitis risk
