Schimpe is an 11 YO Warmblood, so not genetically predisposed to EMS although her exact breeding could make a difference. Any trace of an EMS prone breed in her bloodlines could make her susceptible.

Try 1 cup dry measure of beet pulp, and rinse-soak-rinse. You can also try soy hull pellets to see if she likes them. They just need a 20 min soak and no rinsing. They make more of a mushy base. --
