Another product I have used for wound healing is Schreiners. It’s herbal (contains Goldenseal) and seems to sting on some horses but not others. My Trakehner mare had her lower leg completely

Hi Nicolle
Re the bed sores, apart from Jaini’s great advice I was wondering if you could make some sort of ‘donut’ type pad with no centre that you could fasten over the dressing to keep

Thanks for replies.
Now I'm confused about the TRH Stim test.
I know it's used to detect early PPID but thought also used - as- for some reason some horses won't "test" on baseline.?
I'm convinced

Now you're reading my mind,Sherry.
It's suspicious to me that the abscessing is along the entire CB. That's what it looked like with my boys anyway.
Perhaps from compensating for the sore RF

Oh awesome, thank you for the suggestions. I will add in a tsp and start there. I definitely think I added in too many things at once. Going to start from square one, she gobbles up the haystack

Re: Solar Penetration
Nicolle,
Her bloodwork doesn't indicate IR or PPID. Again, I'd be letting her eat free choice hay at this point and not worry about soaking it if that's what it takes to get her to eat.
Lorna, do
