We are still here. Yesterday was a much better day. Elsa was much more engaged. Two days ago I couldn't get her to finish her 1/2 c BP pellets that were soaked along with her supplements 2x daily.

I'm not sure what you mean by lots of sloughing material(my shortcoming, not yours),but I like how clean they are now.
It's encouraging to know that Jenny is following along with you.

Re: Solar Penetration
Lorna,
I posted some sole pics a couple of days apart. What do you think? They just don't look as angry to me and there is lots of sloughing of material. My uneducated thought was that new stuff

Hi Janet,
I was able to source a sawdust/shavings mix in a mini tote. Sure beats running to the feed store every few days and turning my backseat into a farm vehicle.

Re: Help for my mare Alaska
Eli,
It's true most of your bloodwork doesn't indicate PPID, but the post-stim TRH test in July 2020 does show an anomalously high value and that would have been AFTER your seasonal rise ended. That

Hi Eli,
Are you asking to have hoof markups done to guide the trimming? If so, could you please add lateral and dorsal shots that include the cannon bones, and let us know when those and the xrays

Re: Flame’s labs
Highbred Horse Hay has a nice, low ADF/NDF, chopped, compressed hay they call Gentle Blend. It is pre-tested every year (by NIR) and is baled onto 2000 lb pallets and plastic wrapped for shipping.

Elizabeth,
Flame looks just a little thin, which in his case as a NSH, is good. When were his teeth checked last? He's 20 and might not be able to chew as well as in the past. Dr Kellon has
