Thank you Jocelyn,
I actually have some dandelion root at home. One of my dogs has CHF and I try to keep the use of furosemide down as a diuretic. Would you know dosage for horse. My dog can have 6

Re: G.T.F Chromium/ fasting blood work
This might help too https://wp.me/p2WBdh-1hR . If you do any research on insulin levels in normal horses you will find they are always less than 10 when fasting and only in the 20s after a grain

Thanks so much. Sometimes I have a hard time trying to get the vet to buy into any of this.

Re: Xrays and trim photos
I'm sure there are some adjustments that could be made (there always is!) but I would be very pleased with that trim if she was my horse.
There does appear to be a little medio-lateral imbalance on

Re: Solar Penetration
Hi Nicole,
Please consider using Micro ingredients Organic Dandelion root 20:1 extract (powder) from Amazon, which will take several days to get to you. When it arrives, use the scoop in the package

Hi Kimberly,
Those insulin numbers aren't terrible and your work is paying off. I don't think Metformin is necessary since they are not in danger of laminitis. Obviously it would be good to see

Re: G.T.F Chromium/ fasting blood work
Sorry, Ryn was Glucose 107, Insulin 40.48 Leptin 25.30 and Mouse was Glucose 99 Insulin 28.58 and Leptin 13.00. The vet read what the label on the container from Uckele says and thinks it will help.

I agree that tiny amount is not likely to have much influence, good or bad. Please get your case history updated so everything is in one place. You are going to need to address all aspects of drugs,

Re: Help for my mare Alaska
Pictures can go in your photo album on the case history sub group. That teff would need to be soaked to be suitable as the ESC+starch is right at 10%. Do you know if that test as well as the other

Re: Hind end stiffness, forehand soreness
Is there any way you can have the hay soaked for all feedings? It can be done ahead and then allowed to dry. In addition to getting the trim addressed that's one thing I would change ASAP.
Keep in

Thank you Kirsten!
I have requested a copy of her oral sugar test from the vet so can hopefully share results soon. I have spoken to a couple vets in our area about running insulin and glucose bloods

Unfortunately, part of Zahr's issue is that his trim needs a lot of work. His toes are still way too far out ahead of where they need to be. His HPA is
