I am also feeding teff hay from Anderson. The sugar is great, the nitrates, not so much. They are double (1.06) the safe limits (0.5). I'm having to soak 1/2 my pony's daily ration of the teff hay

Hello...thank you for responding so quickly. I am feeding Teff Hay from Anderson Farms out of WA. They test before they send and then I retest when I get it. I am only testing for sugar at this time

He eats most of whats put out, i weighed the hay left in nets this morning had 2 lbs left,when i filled it had 20 lbs in each net that's two nets. He's not getting fat having all the hay
