I’m so sorry, Pauline. I know how much that hurts, losing your heart horse. May the passage of time and fond memories help you healthe acute nature of that pain. Jack had a wonderful life with you.

Hi, Corrine - what a worry for you and Jasper! Can you get a hard copy of the results, and either upload it as a pdf, or scan it and upload it? These results just don't make any sense, as Lavinia

Re: New test results on IR, PPID 11 year old gelding
OK. That makes more sense and means the glucose wasn't sent to Cornell as they report in mg/dl.
That glucose is extremely high as normal shouldn't be above 5.5mmol (equivalent of about 100mmg/dl).

Re: New test results on IR, PPID 11 year old gelding
It's highly unlikely that glucose reading is truly 20 mmol/L. If it went to Cornell, it's mg/dL - or if not, maybe it's 2.0 mmol/L. Either way, the blood was mishandled somehow.
If you know anyone

OK. Those units mean the glucose wasn't sent to Cornell as they report in mg/dL.
That glucose is extremely high as normal shouldn't top out at more than 5.5mmol (equivalent of about 100mg/dL).
