My Pony has foundered

I get this is an old post. I just joined in July. My girls insulin was 250 or 350...I dont remember now. Once on Metformin for 3 weeks it came down to 49 but she was still in a lot of pain. I gave

Devil's claw treats a symptom. If you need it for arthritis type issues by all means keep on using it; but if you're using it to try to combat hoof pain caused by elevated insulin or a trim

He should be fine to fast for his scope. Just be sure his first meal is low ESC and starch, maybe soaked hay and r-s-r beet pulp, to minimize the insulin spike after a fast.
