You can do a search of the message archives but here's one email to get you started: Re: Use of curcumine (groups.io)
As far as Cat's Claw: Re: turmeric use ? (groups.io) is one to get you started.

I am also confused as to what “pure aloe vera, not like a drink” means.
I have purchased the aloe leaves at the health food store, and offered the horses some of the scraped gel, and they said

Re: Winter grazing
Hi Gail
I am not aware of differences. It is standing hay. At a minimum, I would clip some and have it tested.

Re: adipose tissue hormones question
Cliff Notes version:
Leptin is normally the hormone that shuts off appetite. However, when levels are elevated for a prolonged period, as they are in overweight horses, leptin resistance develops.

Re: Dr. Kellon Flytes latest labs.
You can increase the Prascend through the rise but I wouldn't increase the Invokana. Alcar dose is fine. Good to increase his exercise but make sure he has free choice hay and as much soy hull/beet

Lesley,
It's not that simple. Some times of day, growth stages and environmental conditions may be safe but we have no foolproof way of identifying them on a day to day basis. Research has shown that

Re: Winter grazing
Not exactly.
Equines who have uncontrolled insulin (hyperinsulinemia) should not have grass. Even dormant grass.

Nancy,
What you are saying is that pasture, no matter what time of day or year or temperature is not safe for a horse who has had laminitis, ever.
